Historic Preservation
The City of Delta now has 30 buildings which have received local designation. Eight buildings have received state designation and four buildings have earned national designation.

Fort Uncompahgre
Fort Uncompahgre was established as a fur trading post in 1828 by Antonie Robidoux, near the present site of Delta, Colorado.

The Fort has come to life again as the City of Delta funds this unique museum that is located at the entrance to the Confluence Park Complex. The Fort is currently closed. To schedule a tour for your group of 10 people or more please call 970-874-8349or email infofortonost@gmail.com
