The Aquatics Department strives to provide a safe, inviting, fun environment for recreational swimming and a variety of educational, affordable programs for all ages.

Pool Facts

Main Pool

  • 25 yards, 6 lane L shape pool with diving area
  • Approximately 188,000 gallons of water
  • One, 1-meter diving board with adjustable fulcrum; diving section is approximately 12 ft deep
  • Shallow area is 4 - 5 ft deep and 6 lanes across
  • Deep area runs from 5 ft. to 12 ft. deep with varying contours to accommodate the diving well. (Approx. 3 ½ lanes across)
  • Temperature range 83.5 to 84.5 degrees
  • Built in wall ladders, adjustable stairs/ramp and a hydro-chair lift are available for pool entry
  • Pool can be set up to accommodate recreational water volleyball, polo, swim meets, and other special events

Tot Pool

  • Separate pool with retaining edge
  • 36 ft. by 37 ft.
  • Approximately 23,000 gallons of water
  • Depth ranges from 9 inches to 2 ft.
  • Easy access stairs
  • Temperature range 90 - 92 degrees

Therapy Pool

  • Separate pool for therapeutic purposes
  • 16 ft by 37 ft
  • Approximately 7900 gallons of water
  • Depth ranges from 2 ft. to 4 ft., with bench seating and safety rails
  • Hydro-jet water action
  • Capacity 20 people

Swim Lessons, Special Events, and Activities

Swim Lessons, Special Events, and Activities

We offer a wide variety of swim lessons for all ages, year round. Public classes are offered in sessions of ten (10) lessons. Winter classes are offered Monday and Wednesday evenings. In summer months , June through August, Monday through Friday, morning classes begin 8:30 AM until Noon with evening classes for Monday and Wednesday only. All Public classes average forty (40) minutes. Swim Public lessons are available for ages 6 months - 16 years. Current Cost of one session (10 lessons) is $35.00 per student.

Adult learn to swim program is offered at various times of year.

Private swim lessons are offered year round with new sessions starting every other month beginning in January. Prices start at $45.00 per five
Semi- private lessons; or $70.00 per five, 30 minute private lessons.
Ages 3+.

6:00 a.m.—8:30 a.m.: lap swimming - 6 lanes available, tot closed, therapy and sauna open

8:30—1:00 p.m.: water fitness and adult lap swimming, tot and therapy pools open

1:00 p.m—9:30 p.m.: open swim - all pools open, 1-2 lap lanes available

SATURDAY

8:00 a.m.—10 a.m.: lap swim/water fitness - tot and therapy pools open

10 a.m.—8:30 p.m.: open swim

SUNDAY

12 p.m.—5:30 p.m.: open swim - 2 lap lanes available
