The City of Delta Cemetery is a thirty-five acre site, which originated in 1883 just after the City was founded. It was only a couple of acres at that time and has grown to its present size. Current features include: a cremation garden, a section specifically for Veterans and a traditional area with flat and upright stone markers. The City has developed a tree memorial section as a peaceful reflection area. The Cemetery provides a card file open to the public for genealogy research and locates. With a hundred plus years of existence, the Delta City Cemetery contains a number of prominent citizen graves.
Cleland Park was built in the 1920s and has a long and colorful past. It was once the site of a City operated zoo featuring several species of animals and local wildlife. It was also the home of Delta’s first indoor/outdoor swimming pool, which featured a large retractable roof and at one point was considered the most advanced pool in Western Colorado. Cleland Park offers a large pavilion, volleyball courts, six lighted tennis courts, children’s playground equipment and several acres of picnic sites. One of the newest features of the park comes from the passing of old trees that now have a presence as a chainsaw sculptured tree garden. The park is the primary location for Deltarado Days, an annual community festival.

Confluence Community Fields
Confluence Community Fields is a new ball field complex for young ball players featuring T-ball, pitching league, little ladies softball, soccer and flag football.

Cottonwood Park, which was formerly Cottonwood Golf Course, will soon be the location of three full conference size soccer fields. It is a sixty-four acre parcel owned by the City of Delta.
Mountain View Park is the site of three lighted softball fields that host all City programmed softball teams, slow pitch and fast pitch, along with the Delta High School girl’s softball team. 39.5 acres; softball & baseball fields, playground, restrooms, picnic shelters.
7.5 acres; a formal as well as natural setting located under the Garnet Mesa Bluff.
